Gómez ramírez, tere

Tere began her musical studies in her hometown band, at the Professional Music Conservatory with Carlos Vecino and at the Municipal Modern Music School of Badalona with full formation on chamber groups and combos. Later she graduated with Nacho Gascón at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMuC), specialising in Classical and Contemporary Saxophone with the highest distinction. It was during this period that she first came into contact with contemporary music in connection with peers such as Luis Codera Puzo, Raquel García Tomás, Manuel Rodríguez Valenzuela and Marc Garcia Vitoria.

With a particular interest in new music, she completed her training with Marie-Bernadette Charrier at the Jacques Thibaud Conservatorie in Bordeaux along with many courses and masterclasses with prestigious teachers such as Arno Borkamp, Rodrigo Vila, Andrés Gomis, Claude Delangle, George-Elie Octors (Ictus Ensemble), Christian Wirth, Gilles Tressos, Mariano García, Berlage Quartet, Quartet Quasar and Jordi Albert (pedagogy and study on motor skills).

She has been a member of several saxophone quartets (including the Sax-Sons quartet) and various modern music groups. She regularly collaborates with the Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra (OBC), the Orchestra of the Teatre del Liceu and the Municipal Band of Barcelona. As a founding member of the CrossingLines Ensemble, her interest in new music has developed along with the ensemble while performing and releasing numerous works from a new generation of composers.
