WE ARE DRONE is a project created by ensemble CrossingLines and Frames Percussion to be performed in reverberant spaces. The concert is part of the OUT.SIDE concert series, dedicated to presenting music in art centers and other art spaces throughout Catalonia. Concerts will take place at the Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona) and the Centre d'art la Panera (Lleida), and include the collaboration of musicians of the Frames Percussion quartet.

In WE ARE DRONE, featured musicians of CrossingLines and Frames Percussion create a unique experience based on sustained, long sound masses. Departing from the piece Schraffur, by Swiss composer Fritz Hauser, various musical ideas will be developed based on overlapping static musical textures.

WE ARE drONE is designed to blend in the spaces and regular activities of the centers of art in which it is performed. The drone is intended to be a real presence, comparable to the walls and ceiling of the room, a massive block of sound that engages visitors and surrounds them.
